The MetroHealth System broke ground on a new 11-story hospital and a nearly one billion dollar initiative to re-imagine and redesign its main campus on Cleveland's west side. To understand how the hospital's ambitious plans might impact its neighbors, ideastream's Joe Frolik visited the West 25th Street corridor, a backbone of the Clark-Fulton community.

This week, Henry Pettiegrew will announce his plan to turn around the failing East Cleveland City Schools, even as battles over school district control play out in Columbus.

"Hot Chicken Takeover" is preparing to open its first Northeast Ohio location this summer. The restaurants have gotten rave reviews in the Columbus for almost five years now -- not just for their food and fun atmosphere, but also for their effect on the wider community.
